The stoatfolk burrows sit on the edge of a large meandering river. Accessed through the roots of a giant willow tree, the burrows used to be home to a nest of giant rats, which were overwhelmed many years ago. Since then, the stoatfolk have consolidated their hold over their territory, expanding it beyond their lair into the surrounding lands. This expansion has brought them into direct confrontation with travellers and outlying farms that are protected by the local lord of the land.

The product is written and designed for Swords & Wizardry Complete Revised, and also works very well with Old School Essentials as they both use ascending and descending AC. The product also makes use of Mythmere Game's AELF license (replacement for the OGL license) and puts some of its contents into the AELF licenses Open Gaming content.
